Description du poste

In charge of accompanying application projects, as an interface between the platforms and the application teams for the development of embedded electronic systems in the automotive industry, from the RFI/RFQ (Request For Information/Quotation) to the serial product launch.

If you think you'll like to manage the following responsibilities at higher standards

To manage and support the application teams at the project level:

1. Drive and collect all the financial and technical data to prepare answers to RFI/RFQ with the platform teams.
2. Set up or attend regular meetings with business units to better understand the OEM’s needs.
3. Manage EDS (External Development Supplier) and EMS (External Manufacturing Supplier), including RASIC definition.
4. Secure reuse plans for specifications, hardware, software, and tests.
5. Define and secure key milestones and synchronization between all parties (Autoliv platform, external or internal development team, and OEM).
6. Coordinate all necessary actions for the application product projects over the complete V-cycle.
7. Manage technical and project risks and report them regularly.
8. To manage and support the application teams at the technical level:
9. Represent Autoliv for all technical and development process aspects (1st level support).
10. Enforce application of Autoliv development standards to internal and external development teams.
11. Review work products.
12. Participate in supplier audits (EDS and EMS).

To report project advancement and status:

• Organize regular follow-up meetings with all parties.
• Provide and present regular status reports for the allocated projects, including all requested cost and quality indicators.
• Consolidate development and BOM costs.

If you have/are:

• Level (diploma) required: Electronics engineer.
• Experience: 5-7 years managing development teams in the automobile industry, at technical or project level. Tier1 experience preferred.
• Technical skills required: Mastery of embedded system development for the automobile industry, good knowledge of system engineering, good knowledge of hardware electronics.
• Skills in relationship and management/leadership required: Autonomous, multidisciplinary, with the ability and diplomacy to work in teams, locally or off-shore.
