Our product & team

This role is within the team that designs and develops CSG Quote & Order, a modern order management and quoting (CPQ) platform built with the latest technology to modernize industries like telecommunications and banking.

About our technology

Our frontend is built using Angular and web component technology. We are transitioning towards a micro-frontend architecture and welcome you to join this journey.

Our backend adopts a microservice architecture using Kafka for event streaming and PostgreSQL for data storage. We utilize Kubernetes for container orchestration, supporting cloud (AWS & Azure) and on-premise deployments, maintained through a gitops/IaC pipeline.

We rely heavily on open-source tools and maintain our own to facilitate faster, simpler development. Our code is managed via Git, peer-reviewed, and deployed through CI/CD pipelines.

About the role

As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and optimize features for the CSG Quote & Order product.

In your first 90 days, you'll familiarize yourself with our system, build strong relationships, and start developing new features to deliver value to our customers.

What you will do

• Champion clean, efficient code through thoughtful PR feedback and high standards.
• Solve real-world problems creatively for customers worldwide.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to create impactful, user-friendly UI/UX.
• Take ownership of systems, contribute to product design and architecture, identify inefficiencies, and resolve bottlenecks.
• Mentor and inspire team members, sharing your expertise.
• Work with a multi-skilled squad including Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Developers, and Testers.
• Evaluate new tools, frameworks, and trends to keep us at the forefront of innovation.

Role Requirements

• Strong knowledge of building user-friendly UI/UX.
• Experience with modern CSS frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Material Design, Tailwind).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Remote work flexibility: our 'Flexibility First' policy allows working from anywhere, with occasional in-person workshops in Bali and Melbourne.
• Biannual team workshops in Bali, Indonesia, including presentations, hackathons, training, and team-building.
• Paid volunteer days: two days per year for community service.
