Market Director | Global Professional Body

Remote within France (you do need to be based here and there will be travel)

100k + bonus

This global professional body within real estate is going through a period of transformation and has created a new opportunity for a seasoned Market Director to lead strategy and growth across Europe.

The Role

The Market Director will lead strategic growth and performance across a defined region, ensuring strong financial outcomes, customer satisfaction, and compliance. You’ll build trusted partnerships with customers, members, partners, and government bodies, driving innovation and service improvement, while shaping a high-performing, values-led culture. You will work across:

  1. Business and Market Development – building relationships, pipeline, and driving revenue growth across memberships, retention, training courses, and more.
  2. Commercial, Operations, and Product Management – Full P&L and commercial ownership.
  3. Regional & Global Strategy Execution – develop and deliver regional strategy.
  4. Market Leadership & Representation – acting as a brand ambassador at a wide range of events and engagements.
  5. Leadership & Team Management – leading and developing a delivery team across your region.

This role requires a natural salesperson, who has extensive experience and knowledge in real estate or construction, and a proven track record in delivering membership growth (please note this role is not within property sales). You’ll need:

  • An extensive background in business development, relationship building, and key account management (and a proven track record in delivering revenue growth).
  • Experience driving strategy and business development for memberships and training courses is crucial.
  • Demonstrated expertise in commercial and financial management, overseeing business operations.
  • Experience within quantity surveying, valuation, land, commercial, or residential sectors.
  • Proven ability to influence and build relationships with stakeholders in a global matrix organisation.
  • To be an experienced leader with a track record in mentoring and developing high-performing teams.
