The Role

Spotter AI is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Trucking Claims Agent to join our claims processing team. This remote position is essential in ensuring our clients receive prompt and fair assessments of their trucking claims. As a Trucking Claims Agent, you will utilize your knowledge of trucking operations, maintenance costs, and claims management to deliver exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

1. Claims Assessment: Review and evaluate trucking claims submitted by clients to determine their validity, coverage, and potential payouts. Conduct investigations to gather relevant information from drivers, trucking companies, and insurance adjusters.
2. Cost Analysis: Analyze maintenance records, repair invoices, and other documentation to accurately calculate truck and trailer maintenance costs, ensuring efficient claims processing.
3. Documentation and Reporting: Keep accurate records of all claims, communications, and decisions. Prepare detailed reports to summarize findings and support claims decisions.
4. Customer Communication: Act as the primary contact for clients during the claims process. Communicate clearly, address questions or concerns, and provide updates on claim status.
5. Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about industry regulations, company policies, and best practices. Ensure all claims are handled in compliance with applicable laws to mitigate risks.
6. Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities to improve claims processing efficiency and accuracy, sharing insights and best practices.

Ideal Profile

Qualifications

1. Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of trucking operations, including maintenance practices and costs. Previous experience in the trucking industry is advantageous.
