To support our growth ambitions and sustainable projects, we are looking for our next Junior Legal Counsel – Projects & Contracts within the Global Legal team! This position is based in Lille.
Our teams
Roquette's legal department comprises over 60 members across 5 functions (Compliance / Corporate, Global Operations, M&A, IP, Regulatory) and 3 regions (EMEA, Americas, APAC).
As strategic business partners, the legal team provides advice on the Group’s activities, projects, and transactions, actively involved in upstream project design and commercial strategies, working closely with internal teams to deliver pragmatic support.
This role is based at the company's headquarters in Lille / La Madeleine, supporting the Head of Legal Global Operations.
The mission?
Provide legal support for large capex projects and initiatives, develop and implement processes for contract drafting, negotiation, and management, and coordinate between global and regional legal teams.
Offer strategic legal advice, manage contractual disputes, and draft a variety of agreements to allocate risks and responsibilities.
Support governance, policies, and best practices for purchasing activities and contract management within the group.
Manage external counsels and support large capex projects involving permitting, financing, and partnering.
Act as a champion within the Legal Global Operations team to improve efficiency and culture.

Education: Master 2 Business Law, preferably with an MBA or M Sc. in a commercial field.
Experience: 1 to 3 years in a relevant legal role.
Requirements: Knowledge of business and legal processes, proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, storytelling, and mind mapping tools, and full professional proficiency in English.
Business trips up to 20%.
