The Role

The Account Executive is responsible for onboarding new restaurants to our dining network through a consultative sales approach.

Our Account Executive team aims to enhance restaurant revenue potential by applying best-in-class front-of-house management and online reservation technology. We seek passionate sales professionals who are enthusiastic about the restaurant industry and industry-leading technology.

This is a remote position with up to 60% domestic travel.

In this role, you will:
  1. Identify and approach prospective restaurant clients within an assigned territory to sell OpenTable products.
  2. Build and nurture relationships with top restaurants, acting as a trusted advisor.
  3. Deliver high-quality, data-driven demos of OpenTable products tailored to each partner's needs.
  4. Drive revenue by engaging with restaurateurs and creating successful opportunities.
  5. Educate operators on industry trends and provide unique insights.
  6. Encourage clients to think differently about their business.
  7. Develop strategic plans for sales strategies and tactics.
  8. Overcome objections and competition strategically.
  9. Consistently exceed monthly and quarterly acquisition and revenue targets.
  10. Use customer feedback to refine sales processes and product offerings.
  11. Utilize Salesforce to manage your territory, forecast sales, and process contracts.
  12. Enhance product and data tool knowledge, such as Preset.
  13. Participate in networking events and industry engagement to increase visibility.
Apply if you:
  • Have 5+ years of proven B2B sales experience.
  • Are high-reaching, tenacious, and goal-oriented, with a focus on outbound activities and persistence.
  • Possess strong discovery skills, asking impactful questions and relating concepts effectively.
  • Are passionate about hospitality and technology; experience in restaurant management or food & beverage sales is preferred.
  • Can communicate new perspectives that challenge clients' views.
  • Have excellent negotiation skills to maximize sales value.
  • Use data and analytics to inform decisions and build business cases.
  • Have strong time management, presentation skills, and administrative competence.
  • Are proficient in Google Suite and Salesforce CRM.
  • Are collaborative, eager to learn, and thrive in team environments.
  • Can work in unstructured, forward-thinking settings.
  • Are a native French speaker and proficient in English.
