The Bobigny site, which houses our headquarters and R&D center for the Visibility Systems Pole (VIS), develops high-performance lighting systems that assist drivers and passengers in all weather conditions, day and night, supporting their activities onboard.

We are currently seeking an eCAD Coordinator & Studies M/F to join the Electronic Controller Platform team. This cross-functional team handles electronics activities from design to manufacturing and standards development, reporting directly to the Director of EMC and Electronics Disciplines.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Managing CAD planning in collaboration with central team stakeholders to coordinate PCB design workload and project requests, acting as the interface between VIS hardware teams and the offshore central CAD service line. Organizing regular conference calls and screen sharing sessions to monitor design progress from initial hardware requests to final delivery.
  2. Ensuring design quality by reviewing all PCB designs before final hardware layout review, verifying compliance with Valeo standards and methodologies.
  3. Providing local support to VIS hardware teams for feasibility studies, placement, prototype, and demo board PCB layout designs following Valeo's onsite processes.
  4. Technical support: Assisting project teams with engineering questions related to PCB designs.
  5. Management reporting: Reporting task and activity progress (KPIs, meetings), escalating risks, and informing/training local teams on eCAD news, updates, and standards evolution. Proposing improvements to existing standards and processes considering VIS specifics.

Candidate profile:

With 2 to 5 years of higher education in electrical or electronics engineering, you should have at least 10 years of experience in designing printed circuits (from 1 to 12 layers, including reflow, TQFP, BGA, µvias, etc.).

You are recognized for your leadership and technical skills, with a thorough understanding of electronic schematics and EMC issues. Experience in the automotive sector and fluency in Chinese are advantageous. Fluency in English is required.
