Job Description

In the context of Cloud & Digital transformation, Veolia Water Technologies is a leading French company in Cloud transformation. Since 2014, we migrated our IT infrastructure to the public cloud, reaching a nearly full Cloud application landscape by 2021, and are now focusing on application & business transformation. Our Cloud providers include Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, and SaaS providers like Salesforce.

The LATIS Program is a global initiative based on JD Edwards EnterpriseOne ERP, aiming to:

  • Provide a single Core Model Information System for Veolia Water Technologies;
  • Enhance information sharing across Business Units;
  • Support Veolia Water Technologies’ business.

This is one of the largest implementations in France. After migrating to AWS in 2020 and upgrading to version 9.2, we are working on an efficient code current strategy.

Our ERP is deployed worldwide in 44 countries, with over 4500 users across various domains such as Finance, Job Cost, Non-Stock Procurement & Time, and Service (moving towards ServiceMax). We manage numerous interfaces, some more integrated via Web Services.

You will join approximately 100 professionals at the HQ IS&T department, working with an offshoring model. You will be part of the ERP & Satellites team of about 15 people, focused on maintaining ERP performance and availability to support our business.

You will report to the ERP Solution Functional Manager and serve as a referent on the Veolia Water Technologies ERP Core Model based on JD Edwards.

As an Expert, your responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the correct implementation and evolution of the ERP Core Model;
  • Providing Level 3 support in coordination with outsourced AMS-Level 2 and other domain process owners;
  • Interacting with other IT teams on digitalization and integration topics.

As a LATIS Functional Process Owner - Manufacturing, your main tasks will be:

CORE MODEL

  • Ensure reference knowledge on LATIS business processes and their translation into the LATIS JDE Core Model;
  • Maintain knowledge of localizations;
  • Design, build, and test Core Model evolutions;
  • Coordinate with development teams and transfer knowledge to Level 2 support;
  • Participate in domain meetings with third-party partners and Level 2 teams.

APPLICATION MANAGEMENT

  • Provide Level 3 support for bugs and enhancements, coordinate with Business Process Owners and key users;
  • Estimate workload, design, build, and test application updates;
  • Review and validate project estimates and deliverables;
  • Coordinate activities and communicate with stakeholders.

COORDINATION WITH BUSINESS USERS

  • Ensure LATIS aligns with business process evolution;
  • Participate in business community feedback sessions and demos;
  • Manage requests for enhancements and provide feedback;
  • Contribute to annual events and maintain relevant documentation.

CROSS TOPICS & OTHERS

  • Ensure interface consistency with other tools;
  • Coordinate with other functional domains;
  • Contribute proactively to team analysis on cross-domain topics.

Qualifications

Minimum 10+ years experience in JD Edwards ERP implementation or deployment, with deep knowledge of Supply Chain processes and JD Edwards Manufacturing suite. Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills. Project management experience. Curious, proactive, rigorous, service-oriented, and able to work in an international environment. Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
