Job Title: Site Security Specialist

Location: Remote, flexible within Europe

Role Overview:

Our Client, a world leader in their field, is seeking a highly motivated, proactive, and collaborative professional who thrives in complex environments and is passionate about continuously improving security performance.

As a Site Security Specialist, you will ensure the effective implementation of the Global Site Security Program, helping to mitigate risks and protect people, assets, and operations. You will play a key role in fostering a culture of security excellence and innovation across our European sites, working collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Implement and oversee the Site Security Program across designated sites in alignment with global standards.
  2. Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of security measures, identifying areas for improvement.
  3. Support the Site Security Program Lead in enhancing the global strategy and delivering specific projects.
  4. Drive cross-functional collaboration with Regional & Country Security Managers, Site Leads, Site Security Officers, Procurement, Facilities, M&A teams, and others.
  5. Promote a strong culture of security awareness and engagement throughout the organization.
  6. Ensure effective communication and alignment across internal and external stakeholders.
  7. Support security governance initiatives including Communities of Practice (CoP), process improvements, and tool optimization.
  8. Maintain and improve the global site security assessment database.
  9. Contribute to the development and rollout of training programs for Security Professionals and key site functions.
  10. Participate in 360° site assessments and collaborate with local law enforcement as required.
  11. Engage in regional security initiatives and global professional networks.
  12. Provide on-site support during critical incidents and events across Europe.

The Person:

  1. Proven experience in corporate or site security roles.
  2. Strong understanding of physical security, access control, risk assessment, and response protocols.
  3. Excellent project management and execution skills.
  4. Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities.
  5. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
  6. Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage competing priorities.
  7. Experience working in cross-cultural and matrix environments.
  8. High integrity, transparency, and accountability.
  9. Comfortable with innovation, technology, and emerging trends in security (e.g., AI applications).
  10. A strategic thinker with a hands-on approach.
