Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests. Set tables according to the type of event and service standards. Answer questions about menu selections. Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, wait times, re-cook orders, and product availability. Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen. Record transactions in the MICROS system at the time of order. Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverages. Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glassware, etc., throughout the day. Complete closing duties, including restocking items and turning off lights. Present accurate checks to guests and process payments.
Follow all company and safety policies; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions; complete safety training. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are professional, maintain confidentiality, and protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge guests according to standards, anticipate and address service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests sincerely. Communicate clearly and professionally. Develop positive relationships with colleagues, support team goals, and respond appropriately to concerns. Adhere to quality standards. Read and verify information in various formats. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. Lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds unaided, and over 50 pounds with assistance. Perform other duties as requested by supervisors.
A food allowance is provided based on the guaranteed minimum, subject to legal and contractual conditions.
