Job description:

Within the transformation of the tourism service into a tourism office, the Roumois Seine Community of Communes is recruiting a:

Prefiguration Director of the Tourism Office

Reporting to the Deputy General Director, you will oversee the creation, coordination, and implementation of actions to revitalize, promote, and develop tourism, as well as manage tourism projects in the Roumois Seine territory.

Responsibilities include:

• Create a tourism office with a legal structure to be defined
• Conduct studies and prefiguration in consultation with potential partners
• Develop and animate partnerships and professional networks
• Coordinate local tourism actors, including private, institutional, and associative entities, such as museums and cultural sites
• Support and monitor tourism project leaders in collaboration with public and private partners
• Implement and lead tourism promotion and communication strategies
• Develop tourism services and products
• Collaborate with territorial development actors
• Manage the administrative, financial, and technical aspects of the tourism office
• Prepare and execute budgets with legal and financial departments
• Organize tourism activities across the territory
• Manage the Panorama guesthouse in Barneville sur Seine
• Supervise the tourism team to be formed

Profile requirements:

Knowledge and skills:

• Understanding of local government operations and tourism networks
• Experience in project engineering and management
• Skills in communication, coordination, and partnership development
• Proficiency in administrative, legal, and budget management
• Knowledge of tourism and economic development regulations
• Fluent English preferred
• Computer skills: Office, Internet, Tourinsoft, social media

Educational background:

• Bac +3 minimum, ideally in tourism or heritage development
