Overview:

We are seeking an experienced AVS Solution Architect to lead complex enterprise infrastructure deployments and migrations from on-prem VMware environments to Azure VMware Solution (AVS) . The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise across Azure, VMware, and hybrid cloud architectures , with strong stakeholder management and solution design skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and lead AVS migrations and hybrid cloud architectures for enterprise clients
• Collaborate with program managers, engineers, and security teams to define strategy and technical requirements
• Deliver technical leadership on VMware vSphere, NSX-T, vSAN, and Azure networking
• Create architecture documentation, knowledge-sharing materials, and training resources
• Act as AVS subject matter expert and stay current with evolving Microsoft and VMware technologies

Required Skills & Experience:

• IT infrastructure experience, including 3+ years in AVS and 5+ years in VMware vSphere
• Strong expertise in:
• VMware NSX-T , vSAN, HCX (Advanced/Enterprise)
• Experience in on-prem to cloud migrations using HCX
• Understanding of security, compliance, and enterprise architecture principles
• Strong communication and client-facing skills#

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with:
• VMware SRM, vRLI, vROps, vRNI, Cloud Director
• 3rd-party appliances (firewalls/load balancers) in Azure/VMware
• Certifications in Azure, VMware, or related disciplines
• Background in data center network fabric design (Layer 2/3
