Recycling and Waste Valorization activities at Veolia in Île-de-France are seeking a candidate for their waste incineration and electricity production plant located in Monthyon (77):

an Instrument Technician (F/H) on permanent contract

Your main goal will be to monitor, maintain, and repair the equipment and instruments of the energy recovery unit, focusing on advanced electrical and mechanical measurement and regulation instruments.

Under the supervision of the maintenance manager, your primary missions will include:

• Inspect, calibrate, and maintain sensors and measurement chains on site to ensure proper operation
• Follow calibration and maintenance schedules
• Configure and maintain automation systems and programs used on site
• Use control-command systems (General Electric) and automates (notably Schneider) to diagnose and fix issues
• Optimize regulation loop parameters, processes, and overall plant operation
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding equipment and consumables for measurement, regulation, and automation
• Manage spare parts inventory in collaboration with the storekeeper to ensure operational readiness
• Prepare intervention reports and report non-conformities to management

Qualifications:

To be a suitable candidate, you should have:

• An industrial BTS in CIRA (control and regulation automation) or a DUT in Physical Measurements or a BTS in Systems Automation Design and Realization
• Strong qualities in rigor, troubleshooting analysis, priority management, and autonomy

Additional information:

• Work from Monday to Friday with approximately one on-call duty per month
• Working hours from 08:30 to 17:00
