Job Description Overview

Requirements

Points of attention :

  • Experience: senior (8 to 10 years) or expert (10 to 15 years)
  • Experience as a QC manager at yards (offshore industry)
  • EPCI experience is appreciated
  • Knowledge of quality assurance and surveillance/inspection
  • Strong knowledge of welding and NDT standards
  • Experience working on topside and assembly of offshore substation in fabrication yard
Scope of Work

(but not limited to):

  • The QC Site Manager will be based in the fabrication yard, coordinating QC inspectors (welding, mechanical, painting, electrical, corrosion, instrumentation, etc.)
  • Check the proper implementation of the Contractor's Project Quality Management System (PQMS) at the site
  • Support the Project Quality Manager (PQM) in allocating QC Inspector functions across project areas, ensuring effective onsite coordination
  • Manage daily communications with PQM regarding potential issues, blockers, and QC activities progress
  • Hold regular meetings with the RTE Site Manager and project construction team to communicate QC matters
  • Prepare quality site reports, including Key Performance Indicators, for PQM and project team use
  • Ensure the site project team is aware of quality requirements
  • Verify that tests, controls, and inspections are conducted and documented according to applicable Master ITPs, including mechanical completion
  • Ensure Nonconformities are properly documented, and corrective actions are taken promptly

This is a one-year project starting on 1st October 2025.
