Job Description:

Summary:

We are looking to expand our database of linguists to work on projects for our clients in the Travel & Tourism sector.

The ideal candidate will have experience in translation and proofreading projects within the travel and tourism industry. Additional experience in the tourism field is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Translate and proofread various document types based on subject matter expertise.
2. Ensure translated documents accurately reflect the original source.
3. Maintain disciplined operational procedures across multiple client projects.
4. Track project-specific non-conformances and resolutions.
5. Perform project quality assurance steps.
6. Utilize all relevant reference materials (client PAQ, glossaries, etc.) consistently.
7. Take responsibility for errors or omissions in projects.

Required Skills:

1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Japanese and French.
2. Experience in French to Japanese translation within the Travel & Tourism sector.
3. Strong problem-solving skills.
4. Successful completion of company language tests.
5. Minimum passing grades on relevant foreign language tests.
