Join a fast-growing startup at the forefront of quantum computing as a Security and Systems Engineer. You will protect information systems and manage IT infrastructure, contributing to groundbreaking achievements in quantum technology. Collaborate with experts and thrive in a diverse team focused on innovation and excellence.
C12 develops quantum computers to solve highly complex computing tasks that are currently out of reach of even the most powerful supercomputers. Building a quantum computer requires innovators ready to tackle exciting challenges. C12's founders believe that a new material for the qubit will be key to a technological breakthrough. The company uniquely uses carbon nanotubes as the fundamental building blocks of its quantum processor. This high-purity material minimizes errors, improves performance, and reduces hardware overhead for fault-tolerant computing. Combined with established semiconductor techniques, carbon nanotubes will help scale quantum computing, similar to how silicon revolutionized classical computing. Our innovative quantum computing technology enables us to address challenging use cases and solve intractable problems faced by our industrial clients.
Founded in 2020, C12 is a fast-growing startup that recently raised EUR 18 million in 2024 to further its research in its own lab located in the heart of Paris (Panthéon).

At C12, a qubit—the fundamental unit of a quantum computer—is built from an isotopically ultra-pure 12C nanotube suspended above a silicon chip containing control electrodes and a quantum communication bus. Our spin qubits are promising for individual control, manipulation, and circuit architecture. The suspended nanotube's stability reduces sources of decoherence, such as charge noise, nuclear spin noise, and phonon relaxation.
C12 encourages all qualified candidates to apply. Recruitment decisions are based solely on qualifications, skills, knowledge, and experience. Applications from women are particularly welcomed.
