Description du poste

New Tales is currently looking for a hands-on, creative, and digitally native Social & Community Manager to join our Publishing team. If your idea of fun is mixing memes, managing Discord, and turning players into superfans — and you're all about games — this job's got your name on it.

Reporting to the Communication & Community Lead, you will work closely with Brand Management, Digital Marketing, and Media teams but also studios we're supporting. You'll be responsible for day-to-day social operations and community management, with a strong focus on content creation and direct player interaction. Strategic thinking and creative vision are a welcome plus.

Requirements

WHAT YOU WILL DO :

  • Animate, grow, and moderate our Discord servers: launch and manage new channels, oversee moderation, organize community events, and foster a welcoming, lively environment.
  • Handle 1-on-1 community engagement: actively participate in conversations on Discord and social media, respond to fan messages and questions, and maintain a warm, authentic tone.
  • Own and operate our game IP social media: plan and publish content, monitor activity, and grow our games online presence
  • Create platform-native content: Produce memes, short-form videos, reactive posts, and trend-driven content that resonates with our community
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (Brand, Communication, Creative, Studios) to ensure consistent messaging and brand tone.
  • Support and co-manage influencer campaigns and social activations with external agencies and creators.
  • Track key metrics to continuously improve reach and engagement. Prepare performance reports and insights

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience managing social media and/or community platforms, ideally at a creative agency or within the gaming/entertainment industry
  • A "doer" mindset: you don't just brief and supervise—you execute and take initiatives
  • Deep knowledge of online social channels, Discord tools and community dynamics
  • Strong visual and editorial sensibilities: you understand what makes content scroll-stopping and you know how to craft it.
  • Proficiency with design and content creation tools (Photoshop, Canva, Premiere, CapCut, etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. French is a plus
  • Bonus: you bring strategic thinking and a strong creative POV to grow the brand presence and engagement over time
