Our global Tech team operates in an agile manner within a dynamic product organization. WHAT IS EXPECTED OF YOU

The Platform Architect complements the build of technical components for a given Platform, based on their area of expertise, securing alignment with business needs & Pernod Ricard tech standards (robustness & scalability of code, data governance & security guidelines...). They manage the development of tech elements from design to maintenance & continuous improvement, and contribute to transversal tech landscape optimization initiatives, alongside other Engineers in the platform.

o Build required technical components for a product (“increments”), working in strong collaboration with the squad to select best-suited options for the feature/product, based on business needs and global standards

  • Engage with the business to understand the requirements and translate into the technical components
  • Manage technical components testing (including test scenario & acceptance criteria definition...)
  • Oversee the roll-out of technical elements, to ensure effective integration within PR tech landscape
  • Work with the other technical teams to deliver the business needs

o Drive the maintenance & continuous improvement of features/products, based on evolving tech/business needs/trends

  • Manage critical incidents with developed elements, from issue identification to problem resolution
  • Oversee processes such as upgrading ... as needed (platform changes...)
  • Monitor key metrics to identify needs for improvement, and engage the design/redesign of features with the squad
  • Provide insights on solutions/services associated with designed elements as needed (in coordination with Configuration Specialists, Service delivery team...), and contribute to initiatives aiming to maximize product adoption

o Provide engineering best practices & bring forward new ways of thinking to improve outcomes (peer reviews, coaching...)

o Participate in transversal engineering initiatives (market intelligence, cross-product/family initiatives...) as needed, and continuously develop their own skills based on industry trends/enterprise needs

  • You have at least 10 years' professional experience in the same field
  • Agile methodologies: Demonstrate experience working in Agile environments, such as Scrum or Kanban, to manage product backlogs, prioritize features, and iterate based on user feedback.
  • Strong understanding of Service management, governance & ITIL process. ITIL certification is a plus.
  • Proven ability to prioritize features, define user stories, and create acceptance criteria.
  • In-depth knowledge of agile principles, service management and technologies
  • Familiarity with agile and service management tools such as Jira, Servicenow etc
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively bridge the gap between technical and business stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify automation opportunities and develop solutions that address business needs.
  • Data-driven decision-making skills to prioritize features based on user needs and business impact.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Stakeholder management: Showcase your ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, security engineers, IT operations, and business stakeholders, to ensure successful product delivery.
  • Metrics and analytics: Highlight your skills in defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of enterprise service management platforms
  • Ability to work with the cross-functional teams to deliver the projects, with leading the small technical teams or individual architects
  • Ability to work with the external service providers to manage the services and deliver value to the organization
  • Understanding of the devops dependencies & integration with the agile ways of working
