GETTING A FLYING START

As Sales Representative based in Vietnam, you will contribute to leading and developing sales strategies with the goal of market penetration and market share increase, optimizing financial performance, and driving sales operational excellence in your area.

You will manage current channels and define new sales channels by growing our current customer base. You will be responsible for prequalifying utilities and primary end users and maintaining strong, professional relationships with them.

This role is vital for supporting Nexans' strategic goals, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving the development, growth, and operational performance of agents and distributors in Accessories products to succeed in Nexans markets.

HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT

CUSTOMER AND MARKET FOCUS

  • You prepare the right offer to address customer needs: customize the offer in partnership with the Product Manager, prepare offer presentations with communication tools, carry out pre-sales activities such as prequalification, defining opportunities, promoting solutions both internally and externally, and delivering presentations and technical & commercial support to customers. Define growth KPIs for each customer, maintain & grow current OEM accounts, open new channels with OEMs to add 2-3 new customers. Conduct market intelligence: define market sizes, market share, competition mapping & analysis, customer mapping & analysis, technical & commercial benchmarking.
  • You achieve sales objectives according to the sales action plan: propose a sales work plan to maintain and grow current business, prospect targeted customers to add 2-3 new customers, promote Nexans awareness and develop loyalty.

OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE

  • You present, adjust, and validate offers.
  • You formalize and negotiate daily to secure orders and contracts, respecting pricing policies, local legislation, and rules.

TAKE RESPONSIBILITY

  • You participate in main contracts and negotiations for major customers.
  • You support sales activities by maintaining relationships with major accounts, supporting distributor contracts, and resolving difficulties.
  • You anticipate future strategic contracts by developing pre-sale activities and relationships with decision-makers.

GLOBAL TEAM PLAYER

  • You report to marketing on customer visits, market, competition, and innovation; maintain customer files including products and services; support product expertise.
  • You coordinate with plants for after-sales activities.
  • You support sales front office activities.

YOUR STARTING POINTS WHEN YOU JOIN

  • Educational Background: Master’s degree or a Bachelor's degree with proven experience in a similar role.
  • Professional Skills: Pricing, sales technical & behavior skills, negotiation, contracting, sales strategy, customer relationship, business development.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, a global team player.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in English and Vietnamese (Thai/Khmer proficiency is a plus).
