The Role

We are looking for a Field Service Engineer based in the Northeast of France to join our team providing field service, technical support, software support and operator training to our customers. This will involve travel to customer sites in all regions of France and Germany.

This position would be suitable for someone looking to progress from a laboratory position to a field service role, or someone with proven field service experience. This is a great opportunity to work with a customer-focused company supporting several niche product lines. The position is home based with travel to our office in Changé (Mayenne 53).

Responsibilities

• On-site installations and training of instrument and software users
• Preventive maintenance and qualification (IQ / OQ)
• Diagnosis and repair of systems
• Pre- and after-sales support
• Planning of service work
• Communication with customers
• Prepare / submit service reports to customers

Requirements

• Two years’ commercial experience working with liquid chromatography (HPLC) or liquid scintillation counting
• Highly motivated and have strong-problem solving abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good level of written and oral French and English
• Ability to work independently
• Computer experience and proficiency
• Willingness to travel extensively
• Valid driving licence
• Relevant experience in the Pharmaceutical or Nuclear Medicine industries
• Experience working with radioactivity would be a plus
• Good level of written and oral German
