We are looking for a Technical Writer (m / f / d) with talent for languages and a passion for IT to start immediately or as soon as possible at our Hem or Hannover offices.

Your Job

1. Be part of a multi-national product management team, helping build products in our security, backup, and GRC suite, as well as internal tools.
2. Create technical product documentation according to the DITA standard in French and English using the Oxygen XML Editor.
3. Translate texts into other languages, mainly English and French (German is a bonus), and coordinate externally sourced translations.
4. Coordinate documentation content with developers and the product team.
5. Translate or create texts for the user interfaces of our product suite in coordination with the product team.
6. Create product change logs and release notes for upcoming releases.
7. Answer questions about documented products and facilitate knowledge transfer across departments.

Your Profile

1. Highly driven, goal-oriented, and self-motivated team player who can deliver with minimal supervision.
2. Degree in Technical Writing, International Technical Communication, or a comparable qualification.
3. Fluent in written and spoken French and English; German or Spanish are assets.
4. Ability to communicate complex contexts effectively, both verbally and in writing.
5. Experience with translation management systems such as memoQ or SDL Trados Studio.
6. Familiarity with content creation using DITA.
7. Proficient in document structuring, able to work under pressure on multiple projects, and respectful of deadlines.
8. Ideally familiar with software development and SaaS products.
9. Strong analytical skills and good research abilities.
10. Quick learner eager to explore new technologies and ideas.
11. Open to innovation and independent action in a fast-growing international company.
