E&I Engineer

E&I Engineer - Hauts-de-France - 12-Month Contract

Our client, a global (bio)pharmaceutical manufacturing organisation, is recruiting for an E&I Engineer to join them on their new expansion project. Based in a charming location in France, this is a contractual role involving significant capacity growth for biologics manufacturing.

About the Role:

1. Responsible for E&I delivery as part of a multidisciplinary project team.
2. Coordinate and supervise E&I works during construction and commissioning activities.
3. Coordinate E&I activities, monitor, and track work to ensure delivery within schedule and budget.
4. Specify and procure instrumentation.
5. Prepare E&I deliverables, including instrument data sheets, schedules, hook-up drawings, wiring and block diagrams, instrument loops, E&I service layouts, load studies, etc.
6. Manage and control E&I projects, including cost estimates and reporting.
7. Participate in constructability and safety reviews.
8. Review project scope, budget, and schedule.
9. Manage workload across multiple projects of varying complexity.
10. Ensure all aspects of health & safety on site.
11. Program work schedules and monitor building progress, compliance with regulations, and costs.

About You:

1. A BE degree in Engineering is preferred, with 6-15+ years of experience in E&I.
2. Proficiency in a Windows-based environment and software such as Word, PowerPoint, Project, advanced Excel, and Access.
3. Good communication skills are essential.
