Partner Company is seeking a Dynamics 365 CRM Functional Consultant, fluent in German and English, to bridge business and delivery teams in a fully remote engagement across Europe. You will lead discovery, document functional designs, and support testing and adoption of the Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement environment.

You will work with German-speaking stakeholders, analyze requirements, and translate them into actionable solution designs, while collaborating with international delivery teams

Formación

• Approximately 6–7 years of experience delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement or Microsoft Dynamics CRM projects in a functional consultant or business analyst capacity.
• Fluent German, with the ability to independently facilitate workshops and produce professional documentation in German.
• Fluent English, with the ability to prepare programme updates and collaborate with international delivery teams.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Dynamics 365 CRM Functional Consultant, German speaking based in France.

As a Dynamics 365 CRM Functional Consultant, you will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, translating business needs into practical CRM solutions. You will support the evolution of a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement environment, helping organizations optimize their sales and customer service processes. Working directly with German-speaking business users, you will lead discovery workshops, analyze requirements, and define functional solutions that align with business objectives. You will be responsible for assessing existing processes, identifying configuration opportunities, and documenting solution designs that delivery teams can implement effectively. This is a hands-on functional consulting role focused on business analysis, stakeholder engagement, and successful implementation rather than software development. Operating remotely within an international consulting environment, you will combine German-language stakeholder collaboration with English-language project communication to drive successful delivery and user adoption.

Accountabilities

• Requirements Gathering and Discovery: Lead workshops and discovery sessions with German-speaking business stakeholders to understand business objectives, operational challenges, user needs, and existing CRM processes.
• Business Process Analysis: Assess current workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, customer engagement, and process consistency through Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement.
• Fit-gap Analysis: Conduct structured fit-gap assessments, distinguishing between requirements that can be met through standard configuration, those requiring customization, and those best addressed through changes to business processes.
• Functional Solution Design: Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications, target-state processes, and solution designs that enable delivery teams to implement the agreed solutions effectively.
• Stakeholder Alignment: Present and validate proposed solutions with business stakeholders, explain functional trade-offs, and ensure that designs meet business requirements and operational expectations.
• Documentation and Knowledge Transfer: Produce comprehensive documentation covering requirements, process flows, functional designs, and implementation decisions, ensuring that technical and delivery teams have the information needed to execute the work.
• Testing and Business Sign-Off: Support user acceptance testing, coordinate business feedback, help resolve functional issues, and guide stakeholders through validation and formal solution sign-off.
• Deployment and User Adoption: Assist business users during the transition to live operations, helping them understand new processes and ensuring that implemented CRM solutions meet their intended objectives.
• Programme Reporting: Communicate findings, delivery risks, dependencies, recommendations, and solution options in English to programme leadership and other project stakeholders.
• Remote Collaboration: Work effectively with distributed business and technical teams, maintaining clear communication, reliable documentation, and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Professional Experience: Approximately 6–7 years of relevant experience delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement or Microsoft Dynamics CRM projects in a functional consultant or business analyst capacity.
• Dynamics 365 Expertise: Strong functional knowledge of Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, particularly the Sales module, Customer Service module, or both.
• Requirements and Discovery: Demonstrated experience conducting business discovery, requirements-gathering workshops, process analysis, and fit-gap assessments, with documented deliverables that can be presented as evidence of previous work.
• Functional Design Skills: Proven ability to translate business requirements into target processes, functional specifications, and practical solution designs that development and implementation teams can execute.
• Configuration and Customization Knowledge: A clear understanding of the capabilities of standard Dynamics 365 functionality, the limitations that may require customization, and situations where business process changes are the most appropriate solution.
• German Language Proficiency: Fluent German, with the ability to independently facilitate workshops, discuss complex business requirements, challenge assumptions, and produce professional functional documentation in German.
• English Communication: Fluent English, with the ability to prepare programme updates, communicate risks, present recommendations, and collaborate effectively with international delivery teams.
• Stakeholder Management: Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage business users, manage expectations, resolve conflicting requirements, and defend proposed solutions constructively.
• Testing and Implementation: Experience supporting user acceptance testing, business validation, sign-off processes, and the transition to live CRM operations.
• Remote Working Capability: Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment, building trust with stakeholders who may never be met in person, and managing priorities across distributed teams.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: A structured approach to evaluating business processes, identifying gaps, assessing solution options, and recommending improvements based on business needs.
• Engagement Requirements: Based in the UK or Europe, with the legal right to work in the relevant country and the ability to undertake a remote contract engagement.
