YOUR ROLE

As a Drydock Project Manager, you will oversee the planning and execution of drydock projects for our fleet. Your responsibilities include:

• Complying with IMS and all relevant international rules and regulations
• Adhering to quality, health, safety, environmental, and ethics policies
• Proposing continuous performance improvement plans for periodic review

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Manage the drydock projects:

• Planning
• Collaborating with the Fleet department to create and update drydock specifications
• Preparing annual budgets with the Fleet Superintendent
• Defining project scope and specifications
• Monitoring project engineering and drawings
• Checking purchase orders for the project
• Providing technical advice during supplier negotiations
• Conducting kick-off meetings

Execution:

• Liaising among all parties to monitor project execution (drydock, repairs, renewals, retrofits, installations)
• Managing deviations from initial specifications
• Monitoring expenditures and approving invoices within authorized limits
• Tracking project progress and quality, taking corrective actions as needed
• Reviewing annual performance with yards and suppliers, including claims

Close-out and hand-over:

• Conducting hand-over and closing meetings
• Finalizing project close-out documentation

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Master's degree in Engineering or Naval Architecture
• Initial technical experience in the shipping industry
• Proficiency with software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Strong project management and analytical skills
