Harmattan AI is seeking a Drone System Validation Technician and Pilot to join a flight testing team responsible for validating defense-grade drone systems before active duty. You will manage fleets of drones and perform high-volume validation campaigns, aggressively hunting for rare bugs while ensuring safety and reliability.

The role requires hands-on piloting across multirotors, fixed-wing, and other platforms, with field missions and strict documentation supporting engineering and production

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience piloting RC planes, flying wings, or multirotor UAVs.
• Strong discipline to run repetitive, structured test cycles with safety.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced startup environments with initiative and teamwork.

Responsabilités

• Intensive flight testing: log hours, validate systems, hunt for rare flight anomalies.
• Aviation performance assessment: manually operate and evaluate flight dynamics across platforms.
• Field deployment: lead on-site flight missions, often lasting several weeks in varied conditions.
• Mission safety & logs: follow checklists, maintain safety protocols, report observations to engineering teams.
