Harmattan AI in France seeks a Software Engineer - Validation to bridge Hardware, Software and DevOps, building hardware benches and data pipelines to scale validation from 1 drone to 100 drones. You will develop Python tooling, HIL test benches, and CI integration.

Requirements include strong Python, experience with embedded systems, Linux, Docker, Jenkins and Git; CAD skills are a bonus for fixtures. Robotics or drones background is a plus.

Qualifications

• Background in Software Engineering, Embedded Systems, or Mechatronics.
• Strong proficiency in Python (C++ is a plus).
• Experience building test benches, HIL systems, or automated test equipment (ATE).
• Familiarity with DevOps tools (Docker, Jenkins, Git) and Linux environments.
• Bonus: robotics or drones background; CAD skills for fixtures.

About the Role

As a Software Engineer - Validation, you will build the "machine that tests the machine." You sit at the intersection of Hardware, Software, and DevOps. Your mission is to develop the hardware benches and software pipelines that allow the validation team to scale from testing 1 drone to 100 drones efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Automation: Develop Python scripts and tools to automate log analysis, telemetry parsing, and report generation.
