To receive the composite fabrics (in kit form), mold components and prepare the curing environment. The mold release agent releases the components from the mold on completion of the curing process, and prepares the tools for use by the molding workshops.

Scope of Activities

To carry out some or all of the following activities :

  1. Check points listed in the startup OK before starting work.
  2. Collect instruction sheet, tooling, fabric kit, and manufacturing file.
  3. Verify input points: tooling number, file, and tracking sheets.
  4. Ensure fabrics are within their service life using the sheet.
  5. Check that all cuts are present.
  6. Sequence plies chronologically to maintain cleanliness.
  7. Follow procedures in the manufacturing file with sequential instructions and drawings.
  8. Check numbering and apply fabrics and reinforcements.
  9. Assemble curing setup for compaction.
  10. Lay up layers and repeat compression as per instructions.
  11. Verify ply positioning: template, laser, etc.
  12. Create sealed curing assembly with suction pipes, vacuum valves, and thermocouples if needed.
  13. Complete traceability documents: tracking sheet, self-check sheet, tooling.
  14. Label components with part number, program, temperature; record leakage rate.
  15. Provide documentation to oven workshop.
  16. Remove parts from mold, release components, and clean tooling as per procedures.
  17. Complete mold release traceability documentation.
  18. Perform visual and measurement inspections; report findings.
  19. Alert supervisors of faults or uncertainties.
  20. Wear PPE and respect HSE instructions.

Contribute to defect analysis for quality improvement.

Activities are adapted for employees on work/study contracts to align with their training.

  • Address and resolve QSE alerts.
  • Ensure team has required skills and certifications.
  • Support QSE maturity in your sector.

Requirements:

  • 10 years of experience.
  • Business or Engineering graduate school degree.
