Position: Drafter

You will be responsible for preparing detailed working diagrams of machinery and mechanical devices, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, fastening methods, and other engineering information.

What You Will Do:

1. Drafting, laying out, and specifying technical devices and parts.
2. Maintaining effective communication for assigned projects.
3. Performing other duties as assigned.

What We Are Looking For:

• Associate's degree and 3+ years of related drafting experience.
• Knowledge of drafting principles in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Creo (9.0 preferred, 4.0 acceptable) for both 3D modeling and 2D drawings.
• Experience with a PLM system (Windchill preferred).
• Knowledge of ERP software (Epicor).
• Experience with database user interface and query software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to use calipers or micrometers to measure parts and recreate them in CAD software.
• Ability to analyze needs and product requirements to create a design.
• Understanding of GD&T.
• Ability to convert between standard and metric units.
• Good listening and verbal communication skills.
