Job summary

RECAERO SAS is a fully integrated "one-stop shop" for the manufacture of proprietary metallic and composite aerospace sub-assemblies and components. Role Description

This is a full-time, hybrid position as DOA Drafter / Project Manager, based in Ramonville-Saint-Agne (near Toulouse).

You will produce detailed technical drawings and 3D models of aerospace components and sub-assemblies, ensuring compliance with design standards, certification requirements and customer specifications. You will also coordinate project schedules, monitor progress and work closely with the engineering, production, quality and supply chain teams to ensure deliverables are met.

In addition, you will support design changes, documentation updates and configuration management, and take part in technical reviews and customer meetings. Your day-to-day work will involve CAD tools and the review of technical data, and you will contribute to the continuous improvement of our drafting and project management processes.

Qualifications

• Strong technical drafting and design skills, including proficiency in CAD software (e.g. CATIA, SolidWorks or similar) and experience producing 2D drawings and 3D models of aerospace or mechanical components.
• Project management skills, including planning, scheduling, risk tracking and coordination of cross-functional activities from design through to production.
• Knowledge of aerospace standards, certification processes and documentation practices within a DOA or similar regulated environment.
• Rigour in technical documentation, configuration management and change control, with the ability to keep records accurate and up to date.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in a hybrid setting, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and take part in discussions with customers and suppliers.
• A degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, industrial design or a related field; previous experience in the aerospace industry is a strong advantage.
• Proficiency with standard office and project management tools (e.g. MS Office, project planning software) and the ability to work in an international industrial environment.
• A strong problem-solving mindset and a commitment to quality, safety and continuous improvement.
