Role Purpose :

The role holder will lead the development and implementation of its Europe distribution strategy, working closely with relevant stakeholders.

Principal Accountabilities :

  1. Lead the development and implementation of the Europe distribution strategy.
  2. Act as the service owner for broker oversight and onboarding services provided by Lloyd's, managing stakeholder relationships to ensure delivery and resolving issues, liaising with teams as appropriate.
  3. Coordinate onboarding projects of strategic domestic brokers and serve as the key point of contact, facilitating interactions with Velonetic and other stakeholders.
  4. Liaise with LIC Corporate and Legal and Lloyd's Broker Oversight teams to ensure compliance with IDD regulations and other regulatory requirements.
  5. Prepare and update collateral materials related to broker and coverholder onboarding to support market understanding and define value propositions.
  6. Deliver the Lloyd's Europe Broker Academy and regional boot camps to increase Lloyd's awareness among external stakeholders.
  7. Gather feedback to measure satisfaction and engagement with strategic brokers and track progress.
  8. Disseminate relevant information about Lloyd's Europe brokers, events, and strategies in coordination with regional managers.
  9. Identify and address barriers to doing business with Lloyd's Europe, proposing solutions.
  10. Support the Europe Market Development team in horizon scanning and reporting on trends in brokerage and promising brokers/MGAs.

  • Strong business acumen.
  • IT literacy and ability to learn new software.
  • Data analysis skills (Excel, Qlik).

Experience :

  • Experience in insurance/reinsurance industry roles like business development, strategy, management consulting, underwriting, or related fields.
  • Proven track record in European markets.
  • Stakeholder influence and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience working collaboratively in diverse teams.
