What you will do:
  • Plan delivery routes to maximize efficiency and reduce costs based on available resources. Consolidate shipments to maintain efficiency.
  • Select appropriate transportation methods according to budgets and policies.
  • Arrange daily shipping schedules to meet customer and branch needs. Consolidate shipments for efficiency.
  • Assist with shipping operations.
  • Investigate damages or breakage during transport.
  • Maintain a daily log of shipped materials.
  • Compile shipping documentation and notify relevant personnel of discrepancies or route adjustments.
  • Prepare reports on delivery commitments.
  • Upgrade photo Proof of Delivery (POD) systems.
What you will bring:
  • Previous dispatching experience required
  • AS400/Syntax knowledge is an asset
  • Knowledge of industry (Plumbing and/or HVAC) products is an asset
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Dependability, reliability, and initiative
  • Organizational skills, cleanliness, and ability to multi-task
