DeepHealth is seeking a Director of Software Development Engineering to shape the engineering roadmap, lead multiple teams, and drive architectural excellence for health tech platforms. You will recruit and mentor top engineers, balance strategic initiatives with delivery, and partner with product, clinical, and data teams to build scalable, secure healthcare solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 12+ years of software engineering experience, with 5+ years in engineering leadership.
• Proven track record of building and scaling distributed software systems.
• Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), microservices, APIs, and modern DevOps/CI-CD.
• Strategic thinker able to engage in code reviews and executive roadmap discussions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with ability to present technical topics to non-technical audiences.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in fast-paced, regulated environments.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and healthcare data standards is a plus.
• Experience with tools like GitHub, Jira, Datadog, PagerDuty.
