About the Role :

We are seeking a Senior Leader of Professional Services to join our Customer Success team. You will lead professional services in the Southern EMEA region, managing customer engagements, and contributing to the growth of Confluent’s Global Services team. Your role involves building strong relationships with customers, partners, and team members, ensuring successful adoption of our streaming platform.

What You Will Do :

  • Manage the Services business in Southern EMEA, including sales, team management, and P&L responsibilities.
  • Drive transformation towards delivering business value-led customer engagements.
  • Define professional services strategies to ensure customer success, engaging with key stakeholders.
  • Manage bookings, revenue, margins, and customer satisfaction, including legal agreements.
  • Develop relationships with delivery partners and build customer awareness of partner capabilities.
  • Participate in product and sales strategy discussions impacting your customers.
  • Contribute to regional growth plans.
  • Build and develop a high-performance Professional Services team.

What You Will Bring :

  • Extensive experience in proactive customer management and escalation handling.
  • Management of enterprise-level IT projects (10+ years or equivalent).
  • Leadership skills in motivating and managing teams remotely.
  • Experience in hiring, mentoring, and developing teams in an Enterprise SaaS environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills for extensive customer interactions.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% as needed.
