Director of Sales

Location: Europe - Flexible

Reporting to: Chief Revenue Officer

Overview:

Forsyth Barnes have partnered with a dynamic gaming, esports and entertainment organisation who are seeking a Director of Sales to lead all sales and commercial activity for the business. This role will drive revenue growth by securing brand partnerships and overseeing activations across gaming, esports, and entertainment verticals, as well as maximising revenues from events and esports products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the full sales pipeline, from lead generation to closing multi-channel brand partnerships.
  • Develop and execute the commercial strategy across events, team assets, digital content, and live activations.
  • Build compelling sponsorship proposals tailored to gaming and entertainment audiences.
  • Collaborate with marketing, content, and partnerships teams to deliver integrated brand activations.
  • Foster and grow senior-level relationships with agencies and brand partners.
  • Track and report on revenue performance, pipeline health, and market trends.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven track record in sales leadership, especially within esports, gaming, sports, or entertainment.
  • Deep understanding of sponsorship, branded content, and experiential marketing.
  • Strong network across brand and agency landscapes.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Passion for gaming, esports, and emerging entertainment platforms.
