Do you thrive in a dynamic environment where every decision counts? We are currently looking for a Director of Marketing and Admissions to join our busy team in Hatfield, Hertfordshire!

As the Director of Marketing and Admissions, you will oversee all marketing and student recruitment initiatives, developing and implementing strategies to meet ambitious targets. You will liaise with university partners and external clients, lead marketing campaigns, and oversee the admissions process to ensure efficiency and high-quality service delivery. Your ability to analyze data and adjust strategies accordingly will drive new business development and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. This is a pivotal role where your leadership will directly impact student enrollment and institutional growth.

Principal Accountabilities:
Marketing:
  • Develop sales and marketing campaigns to distinguish HIC from competitors and drive growth.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with university partners, the Navitas Group, agents, and other external clients.
  • Identify and target key market segments to promote new business development.
  • Collaborate with the College/Campus Director to ensure effective overall management of HIC.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and report on campaign effectiveness; work with the Marketing & Admissions team to ensure accurate execution of campaign deliverables.
  • Lead profitable marketing and student recruitment efforts based on market strategies, research, and the overall marketing plan.
  • Assess existing sales performance and coordinate marketing and sales efforts to maximize resource utilization.
  • Develop strategies for digital marketing initiatives.
  • Coordinate with the Marketing & Admissions team on promotional materials, public relations, and marketing communications within Group guidelines.
  • Prepare quarterly reports on expenditure and student recruitment metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks governing marketing, sales, and admissions.
  • Participate in onshore and offshore marketing/sales activities, potentially managing key markets.
  • Manage financial aspects related to marketing and agent monitoring and reporting.
  • Encourage student recruitment and marketing staff to actively participate in activities.
  • Collaborate with Navitas group marketing and other Directors in the department.
Admissions:
  • Achieve college/campus admission and enrollment targets by leading the Admissions & Recruitment function.
  • Improve service delivery related to assessments, offer letters, CAS issuance, and follow-up activities in collaboration with the Marketing & Admissions teams.
  • Analyze recruitment data to measure achievement against strategic initiatives and inform decision-making.
  • Work with the Admissions Manager to ensure efficient operations.
