Responsibilities:
Long Description:
The incumbent operates within UNESCO’s strategic frameworks and aligns programmes with UNESCO’s priorities, guiding and overseeing the division’s research, inclusion, and flagship programmes on anti-racism, discrimination, science protection, youth, and global priorities.
Provides leadership for programme management, operational direction, and resource optimization, including the development of work plans and setting performance indicators.
Manages the designated sections, providing strategic and operational guidance, promoting teamwork, and ensuring high-quality results and visibility for flagship initiatives.
Assumes additional duties such as representing UNESCO at high-level meetings, participating in senior management, and ensuring the sector’s success.

Qualifications:

Benefits: Includes salary, annual leave, family allowance, medical insurance, pension plan, etc. Approximate starting salary: $177,045 USD annually.
