Back Market seeks a Director of Cybersecurity & IT to define and lead the next maturity phase of security and technology operations. Reporting to the VP of Platform Engineering, this role shapes cybersecurity, risk, compliance, and IT strategy while enabling rapid business growth and resilience.

You will guide functional managers, secure resources, and drive measurable outcomes across governance, security operations, and IT foundations that keep people productive.

Qualifications

• Define and evolve a multi-year Cybersecurity & IT strategy aligned with business goals.
• Translate strategy into a focused portfolio with clear outcomes and ownership.
• Lead a leadership organization across Security, GRC, IT Ops, and security engineering.

Responsabilités

• Set strategy, roadmap, and investment priorities for Cybersecurity & IT.
• Own operating rhythm including planning, budgeting, KPI reporting, and risk reviews.
• Lead and grow managers and senior individual contributors across teams.
• Build a high-trust environment with cross-boundary collaboration.
