A leading technology company is seeking a Director of Cybersecurity Sales to drive business growth in France, Belgium, and Luxembourg. The ideal candidate will engage with senior decision-makers in cybersecurity, focusing on new business acquisition and managing sales strategies. This role requires extensive experience in enterprise software sales, particularly in cybersecurity, with a proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and building strong relationships.

Role Description

We are hiring a seasoned sales manager to further develop our Cybersecurity business in France, Belgium, and Luxembourg. Preference for candidates based in France.

In this role, you will prospect and engage with senior C-Level decision-makers such as CISOs, Cybersecurity leaders, Third Party Risk and Management leaders, Risk, Privacy, Audit, Vendor Management, and Information Security teams within both the private and public sectors.

You will interact with high-level stakeholders and have excellent personal relationships in Security, Risk, Privacy, Cybersecurity, and Vendor Management functions. This role involves directly engaging with prospects, reseller partners, other Mastercard teams, and customers to present the value of our Cybersecurity solutions and products.

The position involves phone, web, and face-to-face selling, with approximately 30-40% travel.

Ideal candidates will have sold large-ticket enterprise security or risk applications or infrastructure software to large enterprises and public entities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hunter role, focusing on new business acquisition.
  • Develop and manage sales strategies and territory plans to close new opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior decision-makers.
  • Develop and execute sales plans for target accounts.
  • Provide weekly updates and accurate forecasts via Salesforce & Clari.
  • Consistently exceed revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with Mastercard's Cybersecurity division, other sales teams, and channel partners to grow pipeline and accelerate deals.
Characteristics of Success
  • Extensive enterprise software sales experience, especially in new customer acquisition and pipeline growth.
  • Experience in cybersecurity sales.
  • Proven success with large enterprise and public sector accounts, closing transactions >$1M ARR.
  • Successful track record in early-stage companies and territory growth.
  • Strong network of security relationships.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and self-starting skills.
  • Experience selling SaaS solutions.
  • Consultative or value-based selling training is a plus.
