Description du poste

  • Fragrance Development Professional partnering with and reporting to the Vice President, Corporate Fragrance Development, for the Tom Ford Beauty brand. Responsible for leading and implementing an olfactive strategy and collaborating with the fragrance houses to develop winning fragrances to support brand strategies and calendared innovation programs.
  • Candidates must have exemplary olfactive capabilities; both creative and technical with proven successes in the luxe and / or prestige fragrance arena. Significant experience developing fragrances for luxe and / or prestige fragrance brands and / or at a fragrance house is required.
  • Candidates must be independent, professional, flexible, have exceptional communication skills, meticulous project management skills, creative ability as well as strong business acumen and strategic ability.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES :

  • Partner with Vice President, Corporate Fragrance Development to lead the creative process and develop outstanding new fragrances to support innovation for the Tom Ford Beauty brand.
  • Lead and drive the creative process with fragrance houses and Perfumers to develop winning fragrances for key new launches and programs.
  • Responsible for all Tom Ford fragrance portfolio management.
  • Partner closely with brands, in particular product marketing to drive and create olfactive strategies that build and support the innovation pipeline and calendars for key new launches.
  • Build strong working relationships with key cross functions at all levels of the organization as well as with external vendors.
  • Responsible for leading and managing the process with key cross functions to ensure that all timelines are met, and quality products are delivered.
  • Responsible for upstream fragrance development with the fragrance houses to build outstanding innovation for future opportunities.
  • Responsible for partnering with key stakeholders to deliver compelling storytelling for each fragrance launch.
  • Manage all olfactive market insights and analysis as it relates to prestige and / or luxe fragrances.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS :

  • College Degree.
  • ISIPCA graduate preferred.
  • 10+ years fragrance development experience either working for a key luxury and / or prestige brand and / or for a global fragrance house.
  • Exemplary creative, technical olfactive ability and fragrance development skills with a strong creative vision.
  • Exemplary knowledge of the global prestige and luxury fragrance market, including trends and consumer insights.
  • Must be adept at creative problem solving and troubleshooting to ensure business continuity.
  • Excellent creative writing skills and presentation skills to effectively articulate around the artistry of fragrance for go to market storytelling.
  • Partner with marketing, creative, copy and education teams on all key launch elements and trainings.
  • Excellent organization, communication, and project management skills. Must be flexible and agile to adapt to changing needs and circumstances according to brand strategies.
  • Strategic thinker who has an excellent understanding of the beauty and fragrance industry and can anticipate and identify future opportunities.
