Founded in 2014, Sim&Cure is a French Healthcare digital / deep tech start-up focused on neurovascular treatments.

Our mission is to disrupt the treatment of cerebral aneurysm by transforming a mainly emergency pathology (Hemorrhagic stroke) into a preventive approach.

In this objective, we developed a proprietary software suite combining AI and Digital twin technologies.

The Sim&Size software is a Class II medical device with CE mark and FDA clearance that has already been used to treat more than 15,000+ patients in 500+ hospitals in more than 40+ countries and we are continuing to increase our global footprint.

As we embark on an exciting journey of growth and expansion, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Chief Financial Officer.

As the Head of Finance, you will play a critical role in steering the financial and legal aspects of Sim&Cure. This position is ideal for an accomplished professional who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and possesses a comprehensive understanding of financial management and legal compliance within the MedTech sector.

Responsibilities

1. Financial Strategy and Management:

1. Develop and execute financial strategies that support the company's growth objectives.
2. Oversee budgeting, financial forecasting, and financial analysis to guide decision-making.
3. Monitor cash flow, manage financial risks, and ensure fiscal responsibility.
4. Coordinate the consolidation and control of financial data from our headquarter in France and our subsidiaries.
5. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of consolidated financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards.

2. Legal and Compliance:

1. Provide legal guidance and support to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations in the MedTech industry.
2. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
3. Manage intellectual property matters, data privacy, and regulatory compliance.

3. Strategic Leadership:

1. Collaborate with the executive team to shape the company's overall strategic direction.
2. Offer insights and recommendations on key business decisions, investment opportunities, and potential risks.

4. Stakeholder Relations:

1. Build and maintain relationships with external partners, legal advisors, and financial institutions.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or JD preferred.
2. Ideally experiences in Audit, Transaction Services, and previous Operational Experience in a start-up.
3. Proven track record of success in financial management and legal roles, preferably within a start-up environment.
4. Strong understanding of relevant regulations and compliance frameworks.
5. Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
6. Ability to think strategically and solve complex problems.
7. Entrepreneurial spirit and adaptability to a dynamic startup environment.
