Description du poste

Reporting to the Europe Industry Director, the Industry Europe Project Director is responsible for the performance guarantee of entrusted industrial projects in Europe (Pre-design agreements, Design review agreements, Design & build contracts). He/she manages the design development after contract signing and monitors proper execution up to construction. The Project Director plays a key role in maintaining customer relationships, leading change management, and coordinating the international project design team. Additionally, they may oversee M&E packages during construction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACTIVITIES

1. Bidding phase:
   • Collaborates with the Industry Europe Design Director.
   • May temporarily replace the Design Director and work closely with the business development team on the sales offer.
2. Design phase:
   • Works closely with the Design Director.
   • Develops and maintains customer relationships; acts as a key client contact.
   • Utilizes the supply chain.
   • Ensures production of all deliverables (technical memorandum, design proposals, schedule, method statement, cost breakdown).
   • Manages internal and external design resources.
   • Conducts technical design and estimation, collaborating with business development and project teams.
   • Optimizes building and technical design solutions.
   • Responsible for design performance guarantees.
3. Construction phase:
   • Collaborates with local project teams.
   • Ensures performance guarantees.
   • Participates in monthly steering committees.
   • Leads change management.
   • Provides technical support to construction teams.
   • Monitors work progress relative to design.
   • Maintains client relationships and satisfaction.
   • May substitute for the local Project Director if needed.
4. Management of M&E:
   • Involved in the local project team on-site.
   • Responsible for M&E packages, procurement, and sub-contractor design approval.
   • Supervises M&E work progress and guarantees performance.

Qualifications

Master's degree in civil engineering, urbanism, M&E, or similar. 5-10 years of experience in industrial building construction. Significant M&E expertise. Languages: fluent English and Italian or Spanish; French is a plus.
