Digital Sales Engineer - Measurement Solutions, Rungis

This role is for a driven individual passionate about sales and technology, thriving in a remote, connected digital environment. The Digital Sales Engineer will grow sales within a designated territory by managing existing accounts and acquiring new ones, collaborating with marketing on targeted campaigns.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage territory remotely using digital tools to engage with customers, understand their needs, and offer tailored solutions.
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through digital channels to expand the customer base in targeted segments.
  • Implement sales campaigns with marketing, introduce new products, and solutions to existing customers.
  • Gain in-depth product knowledge to effectively communicate value propositions.
  • Demonstrate persistence and a hunter mentality to overcome obstacles and secure sales.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through follow-up and excellent service.
  • Collaborate with domain experts and other company resources to create compelling value propositions.
  • Achieve pricing goals by creating customer value and closing deals promptly.
  • Utilize CRM, sales automation, and digital marketing tools (Salesloft, IIR, Zoominfo, LinkedIn) to find opportunities, enhance efforts, and track performance.
  • Provide regular sales activity and market feedback reports to management.
Candidate Profile:

You excel at building and delivering solutions that meet customer expectations, learn from past experiences, and persuasively present views to gain support. You are persistent, foster teamwork, and achieve objectives despite setbacks.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related experience.
  • Proven consultative sales experience with technical products.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial automation and instrumentation markets.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and customer focus.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work well in teams.
  • Self-motivated with results-driven attitude.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, site visits, and industry events.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with Emerson's products and solutions.
  • Experience in industries like oil & gas, chemical, manufacturing, or energy sectors.
  • Experience in digital sales or e-commerce for industrial products.
  • Experience in industrial automation or instrumentation sales roles.
  • Knowledge of Power BI is a plus.
