Job Description:

The successful Digital Sales Engineer is a driven individual with a passion for sales and technology, who excels in a remote and connected digital environment. The role involves growing sales within a dedicated territory, managing accounts, generating new business, and collaborating with marketing for targeted campaigns.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing territory and engaging remotely with customers using digital tools.
  • Prospecting and acquiring new customers through digital channels.
  • Implementing sales campaigns with marketing and introducing new products.
  • Gaining in-depth product knowledge and communicating value effectively.
  • Demonstrating persistence and a hunter mentality to secure sales.
  • Building and maintaining customer relationships.
  • Collaborating with domain experts and creating compelling value propositions.
  • Realizing price strategies to create customer value and closing deals with urgency.
  • Using CRM, sales automation, and digital marketing platforms effectively.
  • Providing regular reports on sales activities and market feedback.

Who You Are:

You are solution-oriented, learn from experience, persuasively communicate, and foster teamwork to achieve objectives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s in engineering or related experience.
  • Experience in consultative selling of technical products.
  • Knowledge of industrial automation and instrumentation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a team.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven attitude.
  • Proficiency in CRM and Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Emerson's products.
  • Experience in industries like oil & gas, chemical, manufacturing, or energy.
  • Experience in digital sales or e-commerce for industrial products.
  • Several years in a technical sales role.
  • Knowledge of Power BI is a plus.
