Main Functions

Lallemand Animal Nutrition is looking for a digital and communications intern to join our corporate communications team.

This position is based in Blagnac and will report to the Global Communications Manager. This position requires cross-functional collaboration with the digital department, global portfolio marketing teams, regional communications teams, and corporate functions to ensure consistency across all communications outputs, including media relations, content calendars, social media, and internal communications.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

Media Relations and Corporate Reputation

  • Own monthly compilation and analysis of media clips
  • Maintain media monitoring in our industry
  • Conduct monthly research to identify earned media opportunities within our portfolio
  • Develop presentation strategies and media opportunity calendars
  • Manage social listening activities and create monthly reports on social media trends
  • Identify the potential opportunities and risks of social conversations in public relations

Digital Content Strategy and Management

  • Lead the reorganization of website blog post tags
  • Manage day-to-day operations of website content
  • Support for blog posts following brand guidelines
  • Coordinate and support the external newsletter process
  • Develop and implement a YouTube content strategy; Manage the planning, optimization and performance monitoring of video content
  • Strategic content planning

  • Take ownership of creating our shared global content calendar strategy
  • Coordinate with regional teams to align content initiatives
  • Create content strategy templates for local / regional content and guidelines for global implementation
  • Operations and production support

  • Lead the retagging and organization of our photo library
  • Develop improved asset management systems and processes
  • Support internal communications production processes
  • Technical skills

    Required

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in social media management and content creation
  • Analytical mind and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines simultaneously while maintaining a very high level of confidentiality
  • Interest in B2B communications and corporate reputation management
  • An asset

  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools

    Required

  • Minimum bac +4 in communication, marketing, journalism or a related field
  • Fluent in English, comfortable collaborating in an international environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills - flexible, energetic, collaborative, detail-oriented, highly motivated.
  • Strong team player who enjoys working in a multicultural environment and has the ability to work independently and collaboratively, and is flexible with new demands.
