NEW ROLE – BACKEND RUBY ON RAILS DEV – REMOTE

The client is a well-established e-commerce company based in France with a significant market share. This company is known for its efficient work culture—minimal unnecessary meetings and a focus on fixing issues rather than covering cracks. They are planning substantial growth and have a positive reputation among candidates. I have successfully placed two developers there, both of whom have stayed for over four years.

The Role:

• Greenfield development
• Identify and communicate root causes of problems to establish better solutions
• Work with a pure Ruby backend library, communicating with APIs and a modern Rails app
• Use PostgreSQL database and mobile apps

Ideal Candidate:

• Enthusiast of the RoR stack with 4+ years of Ruby on Rails experience
• Strong proficiency in English, both written and verbal
• Ability to work French hours with a ±2-hour flexibility

Interview Process:

• Meet with Engineering Manager/CTO for a discussion about the role, company, and your background
