Job Description:

NEW ROLE – BACKEND RUBY ON RAILS DEV – REMOTE

The client is a well-established e-commerce company based in France that holds a significant stake in their market.

This is a really cool client - they don't do pointless meetings, they have a "fix it, don't just cover the cracks" mantra, and they are eyeing serious growth plans! I work with many clients, but this one always leaves a great impression on all candidates, even those who are successful in the process. I've placed 2 developers there - both have stayed 4 years+ and are still there.

The Role:

• Greenfield development
• Identify and communicate the root cause of problems to establish better solutions
• Work with a pure Ruby backend library, communicating with APIs and a modern Rails app
• PostgreSQL database and mobile apps

You?:

• A lover of the RoR stack – ideally with 4+ years Ruby on Rails experience
• Strong English – written and verbal – must be proficient to work in this language
• Must be able to work French hours +/- 2 hours

Interview process:

• Meet with EM/CTO – discuss the role, the company, and your background and experience
• Technical coding challenge
• Review feedback of the technical challenge and meet wider team members

Benefits:
