In the air, a Greentech startup specializing in aerial imaging and geolocated data analysis, is seeking a versatile developer to join its innovation department.

Our startup manages the project lifecycle for our clients, notably in renewable energy, air quality, urban heat islands, and water resource research. To enhance client satisfaction and data analysis performance, we have developed a SaaS platform for visualization and management of geolocated data, designed by engineers from the Mines Saint-Étienne school.

The goal is to recruit a dynamic and motivated versatile developer to continue developing the platform with improvements and to integrate a set of innovative algorithms, making it the most advanced tool in GIS management.

• Enhance the platform, including supporting new data types, generating reports, and improving visualization.
• Collaborate with testing teams to fix bugs and with data processing teams to understand increasing performance needs.
• Participate in designing and implementing various improvements to optimize the platform.
• Optimize platform performance and resolve related issues.
• Manage APIs.
• Work with the AI team to integrate new features, notably AI algorithms for object identification and image processing, to improve user experience.

Your Skills

• Proficiency with the Django framework.
• Excellent understanding of relational databases, especially PostgreSQL and PostGIS.
• Knowledge of cloud services for deploying and optimizing Django in a cloud environment.
• Good practices in web application security and data protection principles.
• React JS skills for frontend development (a plus).
• Familiarity with Celery and RabbitMQ to ensure application performance.
• Experience with geolocated data and GIS preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with technical team members and stakeholders.
