Chain of Events brings together the people shaping the future of technology, business and innovation through three leading summits in Paris.
Chain of Events runs three summits, all in Paris, all within the same week:
- Signal Week is where traditional finance and digital assets stop being two industries and become one financial system. Born as Paris Blockchain Week in 2019, it has become the meeting point for the institutions rebuilding finance on new rails, from BlackRock to Deutsche Bank to the London Stock Exchange, with policymakers and regulators in the same room.
- RAISE Summit is where visionaries and AI converge. No single company owns the AI value chain: energy, chips, models, applications, every layer depends on people who rarely meet. RAISE is that meeting. In just three editions it has become one of the most talked‑about AI gatherings in the world, with Yann LeCun and Mark Cuban on stage, a gala at the Château de Versailles, a global hackathon and one of the largest startup competitions in AI.
- MACHINA Summit is where AI meets the physical world. Not a robotics expo, but the place where humanoids, industrial robots and autonomous systems move from prototype to production. Launched in 2026 with Google DeepMind, Boston Dynamics and NVIDIA on stage, it is our youngest brand and the one with the most ground still to conquer.
Three brands at the frontier of their field. Fast growth, global ambition, and a team small enough that what you build actually shows. Come help us write what comes next.
About the role
Behind every summit, there is a place where people stop talking and start building. We are looking for a Developer Relations Manager to own three of them: the RAISE Builders Lab, the MACHINA Factory and the Signal Week Hackathon.
This is not a sponsorship role. It is a programme role. You will build the developer community, bring the best engineers in Europe into the room, and make sure the technical partners behind each activation leave with exactly what they came for: their product in the hands of people who know how to use it. You will own each activation end to end, from shaping the challenge and recruiting participants to running the floor on the day and keeping partners close long after the last demo.
What you will do
Build the community
- Grow trusted relationships across the developer and engineering community
- Recruit, brief and manage the developers and engineers taking part in each activation
- Represent participants’ perspective internally and feed what you learn back to the team
Own the partners
- Act as the main point of contact for a portfolio of technical partners, from signing to post-event
- Shape challenge briefs, judging criteria and prize structures with each partner
- Craft clear narratives and value propositions for developer-facing brands
Deliver the activations
- Run the on‑site experience at the RAISE Builders Lab, the MACHINA Factory and the Signal Week Hackathon
- Work hand in hand with Content, Marketing and Operations to bring each activation to life
Measure what matters
- Keep partner dashboards and pipeline up to date
- Track KPIs on developer participation and activation performance
- Report weekly and monthly to your manager
Who you are
- 2 to 3 years of experience, including high‑impact internships, in a high‑growth startup, a developer community or a technical ecosystem. You have been close to the build: organising hackathons, running developer programmes, working in developer relations, or supporting communities where things actually get shipped.
- A Master’s degree from a business or engineering school, or equivalent experience.
- Technically fluent. You know how developers think, what makes them show up, and what a good challenge brief looks like. You are at ease across AI, physical AI and financial infrastructure without needing to be an engineer yourself.
- Rigorous in execution. You can hold a timeline and a room at the same time.
- Comfortable at every level, from a strategic conversation with a technical partner to the floor of a 48‑hour hackathon.
- Fluent in English. French is a strong plus.
What we offer
- Real ownership, not support tasks. Three activations are yours.
- A front‑row seat at three of the most influential gatherings in finance, AI and robotics, and direct access to the leaders, founders and researchers who attend them.
- A fast‑paced, multicultural and entrepreneurial team where initiative is expected, not just encouraged.
- Full access to a premium AI toolset, with the budget to keep adding to it.
Contract and benefits
- Fixed‑term contract (CDD) or freelance
- Office in Paris (17th), one day of remote work per week
- If CDD: 100% Navigo pass, meal vouchers (€12.79 per day, €8 covered by the employer), 65% health insurance (mutuelle)
Recruitment process
- Screening interview (30 min): your background and motivations
- Hiring manager interview (30 min): a deep dive into the role and your experience
- Use case (60 to 90 min): a practical exercise, presented and discussed with the team
- Final call with the CEO and HR (15 to 30 min)
