Description du poste

About Chain of Events

Chain of Events brings together the people shaping the future of technology, business and innovation through three leading summits in Paris.

Chain of Events runs three summits, all in Paris, all within the same week:

  • Signal Week — the institutional summit for digital assets. Founded in 2019 as Paris Blockchain Week and elevated to Signal Week in 2026, it draws 10,000+ attendees from 100+ countries, roughly 70% of them C-suite. Its last edition convened 250+ banks and financial institutions, over $50T in assets under management, and 70 government officials and regulators — BlackRock, J.P. Morgan, Deutsche Bank, Fidelity, BNY Mellon, Citi, the London Stock Exchange, ESMA and the European Commission among them. The thesis: TradFi and digital assets are no longer two industries but one financial system being rebuilt on shared rails.

  • RAISE Summit — the AI summit for decision-makers. Launched in 2024, it has grown from 2,000 to 9,000+ attendees across three editions (80%+ C-level, from 76 countries), with 350+ speakers spanning AI infrastructure, enterprise adoption, agentic systems, sovereignty and policy. The 2026 edition at the Carrousel du Louvre featured Mark Cuban, Yann LeCun and Nelson Griggs (Nasdaq), plus the Versailles AI Gala, the RAISE Hackathon and RAISE the STAKES (1,100+ startup applications in 2026).

  • MACHINA Summit — Europe’s leading event dedicated to Physical AI: intelligence that acts on the real world through humanoids, industrial robotics, autonomous systems and next‑generation human–machine interfaces. Its inaugural 2026 edition brought together the labs building humanoids and the enterprises deploying robotics at scale, with speakers from Google DeepMind, Boston Dynamics, NVIDIA, 1X, Apptronik and Agility Robotics. It’s the fastest‑moving brand in the portfolio, with the most white space ahead of it.

In July 2026, all three brands were acquired by Hyve Group, the global B2B events organiser behind Fintech Meetup, HLTH and Shoptalk. In July 2027, they’ll converge on the Palais des Congrès during the exact same week.

The role and its stakes

As Senior Customer Success Manager, you are the primary partner for Chain of Events’ strategic sponsors on your designated event, and a senior leader within the Customer Success team. You own the sponsor relationship end to end, and you lead the people and suppliers who make delivery possible.

This is not an account management role with a team attached. You are accountable for three things: the experience sponsors have from first contact to post‑event follow‑up, the share of them who renew and grow, and the capacity of the Customer Success team to deliver at the scale of three summits in a single week.

Concretely, you will:

  • Own a portfolio of top‑tier sponsors. You are their dedicated point of contact. You understand their business goals and build relationships that last beyond a single edition.

  • Lead and mentor the team. You supervise and mentor a team of 5 to 6 Customer Success members who join at different points in the year, with the support of your manager.

  • Manage freelancers and suppliers. You lead the onboarding of freelance contractors and own at least one key supplier relationship, alongside the other Senior CSMs.

  • Design the sponsor journey. You build the end‑to‑end sponsor experience, from first engagement to post‑event follow‑up, so that every touchpoint meets a best‑in‑class standard.

  • Lead onboarding and delivery. You make sure every contractual deliverable is executed on your event: marketing campaigns, speaking slots, branding, booth logistics.

  • Maximise sponsor ROI. You advise sponsors on how to optimise their presence, using data and creative solutions to increase their return.

  • Drive retention and upsell. With the Sales team, you identify renewal and expansion opportunities and turn one‑time sponsors into long‑term strategic partners.

  • Build the CS processes. You contribute to the architecture of Customer Success processes and systems, and bring new tools and workflows that make the team faster and more consistent.

  • Deliver on site. During the event, you are on the ground with VIP partners, solving issues in real time.

How your success is measured: the quality of sponsor onboarding and of the end‑to‑end customer journey, per‑event renewal rates, and a defined retention and upsell target. Both renewal and upsell are tied to your bonus.

Growth and development

  • Ownership of the sponsor relationship on a full event from day one.

  • A first or next step in management, with a team of 5 to 6 people and a manager who supports you in it.

  • A direct role in designing the processes and tools of a Customer Success department that is scaling.

  • Through Hyve, access to an international events platform.

About you

  • 3+ years in Customer Success, Account Management or a related client‑facing role, ideally with large B2B accounts or sponsorship partners.

  • A first experience supervising or mentoring people (managers, team leads, interns or freelancers).

  • Strong project management skills: you can run dozens of deliverables in parallel on fixed, non‑negotiable dates.

  • A structured mind for processes: you have already built or improved a workflow, a reporting system or a client journey.

  • Comfortable working with senior stakeholders at large institutions and tech companies.

  • Proficient with HubSpot and Monday.com. Familiarity with Lovable and GitHub is appreciated.

  • Fluent English; French is a strong advantage.

  • Willing to work in an events cycle: intense build‑up phases, then on‑site execution weeks that demand everything.

Contract and compensation

  • Contract type: Full time, permanent contract, Or CDD, Or freelance.

  • 100% Navigo · meal vouchers (€12.79/day, €8 employer‑covered) · mutuelle 65%

  • Wellpass access.

Offices: Paris (17th) · Remote: 1d/week
Other perks: a diverse, multicultural team and real, visible impact on the work

Recruitment process

  • Screening Interview (30 min): first conversation about your background and motivations.

  • Hiring Manager Interview (30 min): deep‑dive with the hiring manager on the role and your experience.

  • Use Case (60 to 90 min): a practical exercise, presented and discussed with the team.

  • Final step, Onsite: meet the team, align on expectations and get a feel for the culture.
