Role overview

CAST AI is pioneering Application Performance Automation. We are hiring a Developer Advocate – Community Manager to expand and build our regional community, shaping how engineers engage with CAST AI across various platforms and events.

Responsibilities

  • Community Builder & Evangelist: Build an authentic developer community, create opportunities for engagement, and be a technical storyteller.
  • Own Your Region: Manage DevRel and community growth, act as the main contact for community relationships, and collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams.
  • Activate Focus Cities: Co-host and participate in meetups, organize events, and partner with local organizers.
  • Drive the Conversation: Engage in key community spaces, participate in discussions, and share updates and thought leadership.
  • Fuel the Content Engine: Create and amplify tutorials, blogs, videos, and courses, and distribute content across channels.

Requirements

  • Experience in Developer Relations, Technical Evangelism, or Community Management, especially in cloud-native, DevOps, or infrastructure automation sectors.
  • Strong technical background: Kubernetes, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), DevOps workflows, developer tools.
  • Excellent communication skills: public speaking, storytelling, engaging technical content creation.
  • Proven community builder: experience with Slack, Reddit, Discord, GitHub, Twitter/X.
  • Event organization experience: meetups, workshops, conferences.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Sales, Customer Success teams.
  • Self-motivated and independent, thriving in fast-paced environments.
  • Located in a technical hub city and able to travel for events.

Nice to have: CNCF, AWS, or other cloud community ambassador experience and existing community presence.
